Looking to join a fun class or activity in Irvine? Whether it’s for your little ones, yourself, or the whole family, registering for City of Irvine classes is simple and convenient. Note: I noticed a small bug in this step—after logging in, the page might appear blank. If that happens, simply go back and re-click Classes & Activities, and you’ll see that you’re still logged in.
4. Add Your Family Members to Your Account
If you haven’t done so already, add Account Members to your account. This is important for registering your child or other family members for activities. You can find this option at the bottom of your account settings. This is really useful, so be sure to add all your family members!
5. Navigate to Filter > Eligibility.
Use the “Filter” and “Eligibility” options to narrow down classes by age and eligibility.
6. Select the desired Family member.
Choose the appropriate family member from your account. For example, if you’re registering for a toddler class, select your toddler’s name.
7. Browse available classes for your family.
You’ll see all the classes and activities available for my 18-month-old. Feel free to explore available Irvine toddler classes, family-friendly activities, and other local events, but this time, I’m selecting Early Childhood for a toddler class.
8. Check the available options.
I see options for Arts, Dance, Educational, Social, and Sports classes that are suitable for my child’s age. However, you may find more or different classes depending on your child’s age.
9. Choose the Class That Fits Your Schedule.
You’ll find a brief description along with details such as the price, location, eligible age, date and time, and the number of spots filled. Check your schedule, and if it works for you, click the class to add to cart.
10. Review the pricing and schedule.
In my case, this class runs from 2/4 to 2/25, but since today is 2/20, I can only attend one remaining session. If a class is eligible for pro-rated pricing, a discount will be applied accordingly. Double check your pricing, double check the schedule, and check out.
11. Agree to prompts and waivers.
After checking out, you’ll need to agree to the necessary prompts and waivers before proceeding with payment.
12. Payment and Confirmation.
Once payment is complete, you’ll receive a Transaction Receipt email from the City of Irvine.
